PERFECT OVERNIGHT OATS!

This is the easiest, healthiest, fast, and convenient breakfast ever. You put the oats and milk with some cinnamon and your favorite sweetener in a jar overnight and you have instant, powerful breakfast you don’t have to prep. Just grab and eat. You can also embellish with your favorite nuts, jam, spices, fruits, seeds, avocado chunks, bananas slices, etc. Use whatever you have and whatever you like. It’s totally up to you. It also lasts up to 3 days. So, make a big batch and keep leftover for the next morning or as a snack any time. Love it!

 

Ingredients

1 glass jar with lid; preferably a mason jar
½ cup old fashioned rolled oats (preferably organic)
1 cup organic unsweetened soy, almond, or coconut milk
1 tsp organic ground cinnamon
1 tsp of raw honey, organic maple syrup, or coconut sugar

 

Optional

Chia or pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, and/or nuts like almonds, walnuts, etc.
Organic dried fruits and/or fresh berries, kiwis, mangoes, bananas,
etc.
Spices like cardamom and or vanilla extract
Spoonful of your favorite jam or even organic peanut or almond butter

 

Directions

In a clean glass jar, place the oatmeal, followed by milk, cinnamon, and sweetener. Add dried fruits, seeds and nuts if you like. Stir well, place the lid tight, and place in the refrigerator overnight.

In the morning, you can add fresh fruits like berries and bananas and eat it straight out of the jar.  Enjoy!
