Homemade Protein Powder

Easy, Affordable, Tasty & Powerful!

Protein powders are popular, but it’s incredibly expensive and full of hidden chemicals, additives, and sweeteners, but you can make your own that is easy, healthy, and amazingly affordable. I put them in my smoothie daily and it fulfills my protein needs and gives me energy to conquer another day. I also add my homemade protein powder when I bake breads, muffins, and even pancakes.

Make sure you buy whole seeds rather than grounded, which is often more expensive, not fresh nor flavorful. By grinding it yourself at home, you’ll keep the freshness, and you can grind as much or little as you want. I use my blender to grind up the seeds, but you can also use a coffee or spice grinder. Keep the seeds in an airtight container (preferably in a glass jar) in the refrigerator.
You can also add various ingredients to enhance flavor such as cacao powder (chocolaty) and cinnamon, etc. Yum!

2 Servings

2 tablespoon organic grounded flaxseeds
2 tablespoon organic hemp seeds
1 tablespoon organic chia seeds

Cacao powder
Organic cinnamon

Combine the ingredients in an airtight glass jar and mix and use as needed.
