I never buy milk of any kind and I’ve been making nut milk for years using walnuts, almond, cashew, etc. They are easy to make, definitely more clean and healthy, and so much cheaper.
You can use the method below for any kind of nut milk, but I found some hazelnuts on sale and it turned out to be absolutely yummy. Try it and you’ll save your health, money, and enjoy something money cannot truly buy. You can also make a really easy and quick hazelnut chocolate milk, which is creamy and heavenly.
Ingredients
Makes 3 cups
- 1 cup raw unsalted organic or regular hazelnuts
- 3 cups filtered water
Directions
Place the nuts in a bowl and cover with water and soak overnight or at least 8 hours.
Pour the soaked nuts and liquid into the blender until smooth.
Put it through a sieve and enjoy it right away or pour into a container and refrigerate.
Don’t throw away the pulp!
That’s pure super goodness. Add to your smoothie, cereal, granola, baked good, etc.
Chocolate Hazelnut Milk

2 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
Organic maple syrup or pitted dates (optional)
Directions

Hot Chocolate
You can also turn this into hot chocolate simply by warming it up in a sauce pan. Simply enjoy!
