So whether it’s cold or hot outside, monday or sunday, at the office or at home, treat yourself to this healthy, easy, delicious hot chocolate and let it melt away your stress, help you relax, and keep you warm when all else seems cold and chaotic.
Dark chocolate, cinnamon and cardamom contain antioxidants, vitamins, and boosts energy among other things. So it’s empowering you while you slip into temporary blitz. Both store bought and homemade almond milk works well.
Ingredients
1 quart almond milk; preferably unsweetened & organic.
6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped; at least 70% cocoa & organic
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/8 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Directions
Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat on medium low, whisking until the dark chocolate has melted. It takes about 5 minutes. Pour into your favorite mug and let it do its magic.
