HEALTHY, DELICIOUS, EASY & FUN WEEKEND PROJECT FOR FOODIES. NUT BUTTER!

Since it’s raining, snowing, or just plain cold (freezing) these days, stay indoors with family and friends this weekend and try making nut butter. It’s so easy, yummy, and much cheaper and cleaner than the ones in the store and you don’t even need a recipe. You can also make a big batch and give them away as gifts. Feels so good to do that.

Homemade Nut Butter
You can make nut butter with almost any kind of nuts like peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, etc., or you can use a mix of them. They sell mixed nut butter at the store for $9 to $11. Ridiculous!
Make sure you get unsalted and raw nuts and organic if you can. You can also try roasting them lightly in a dry pan or in the oven for a few minutes (optional) for more depth in flavor. It does make a difference.
Put the nuts in a food processor and let it rip, and in a few minutes you have butter! You can add some olive oil or sea salt for creaminess and extra flavor, but the fat and calories are not necessary.
Store the nut butter in a glass jar in a cool place and enjoy for a couple of weeks, and try making these easy and yummy
