I could feel the summer coming to a close and fall is already in the wings, waving cool air in the evenings and early mornings.

As I hiked with my foster dog, I took this photo of two seasons, one dying and one being born. I felt melancholy, but inspired to keep walking and climbing the steep hills, while hoping that autumn will bring small gifts of life, dreams, love, and serenity.
